After extensions on their home, the clients wanted landscaping that would finalise their visions and capture the period of the existing house.
In the front yard a mortar Honeycomb rock wall was constructed to match existing work decades prior. The sweeping stairs and pathway were constructed out of brick to marry the exterior of the home to the garden.
The backyard had concrete pavers that were unfortunately laid incorrectly and were subsequently pulled up and replaced by Castlemaine Slate crazy paving. A brick retaining wall is softened with draping Pig Face plantings and Tussocks. Castlemaine Slate flagstones were positioned under the established Cedar Atlantica. The flagstones were bordered by mass plantings of Mondo-Grass.
