The client keen interest in the relationship between the exterior and interior provided a platform to create a beautiful bluestone pitcher wall.
Saul wanted to steer clear of normal straight-line bluestone walls seen throughout Melbourne. This provided us with the opportunity to be freer flowing in our approach to this wall. Not only is the raised garden bed very functional but also acts as an art piece, drawing peoples attention to the backyard from the inside. Lush green Sir Walter Buffalo turf helps highlight the wall with well-positioned succulents and neighbouring grass trees. The garden was designed by close friend David Hurwitz.
